R1: Market circular route
The R1 circular market trail leads around the historic town center of Semriach and offers wonderful panoramic views. The trail is family-friendly and also suitable for hikers with baby carriages.

R2: Ulrichsbrunn circular trail
The local Semriach pilgrimage route to the “Ulrichsbrunn” filial church leads through the Bürgerwald forest to the Ulrichsbrunn hill near the Windhofkogel, offering wonderful panoramic views along the way and leading back to Semriach via Anger with a view of the Almenland, Karl am Stein and the Bürgerwald forest.

R4: Small panoramic circular route
It is a relatively short hiking trail, but offers a great panoramic view of the Semriach basin and the northern Graz mountains and complements the R 1 market circular trail, which leads around the historic town center of Semriach. It is a fascinating panoramic hike with interesting sights and a few places to stop for refreshments.

R5 & R5a: Präbichl - Glett - circular trail
This varied hiking trail leads from the bottom of the Kesselfall valley to the Schöcklstraße at the foot of the Schöckl and back via Glett to Gasthof Sandwirt. A somewhat more challenging hiking trail, as 450 meters of altitude have to be overcome. The interesting and unique flora, as well as the magnificent views, make up for this hardship. But be careful, you also walk through a pasture where donkeys sometimes graze.

R6: Kesselfall circular trail
An ideal hiking trail for families and hikers looking for an interesting and exhilarating natural spectacle. A family-friendly hike through the wild and romantic gorge. A detour to the Steintor is also worthwhile on the way back.

R7: Tannebenwald circular route
This hiking trail leads from Gasthaus Schinnerl, into the Tannebenwald forest, over the Krienzerkogel and past the Lurgrotten entrance back to the starting point. A hiking trail for nature lovers and shade-seeking hikers. About 80% of the hike is in the forest. An ideal forest family hiking trail, which nevertheless also offers interesting views of the Mur valley and the Semriach basin.

R8 and R8a: Trötsch circular hiking trail
There is a somewhat easier tour, as well as a more challenging supplementary variant. Both lead to the peace cross at Niedertrötsch, on to the Rüster saddle and back via the Trötschweg to Rüster and Holleggstraße. The supplementary variant R8a leads over the Hochtrötsch, which branches off from the R8 at the Rüster saddle and rejoins the R8 at the Winterbauer. Magnificent distant views of Hochsteiermark, the Almenland and western Styria are on offer.

R9: Eichberg-Lurgrotte circular route
It goes from the Jaritz Inn along the Eichberg to the village inn “Häuserl im Wald” and on via Pöllau to the Lurgrotten entrance and back to the Jaritz Inn. An easy, varied and enjoyable hiking and culinary trail with refreshment stops.

R10: Boden - Rechbergkogl - Greithweg
A hiking trail that offers hikers beautiful and varied panoramic views, as well as excellent distant views, such as of the Hochschwab massif or the Passailer Kessel in the Almenland. Unfortunately not suitable for baby carriages.

R12: Windhof circular route
This hiking trail leads uphill from the Trattnerhof guesthouse to Ulrichsbrunn. This ascent alone offers a magnificent panoramic view. From the Ulrichsbrunn church, the trail then leads over the shady Windhofkogel to the Middle and Lower Windhof and to the Rötschgraben. You return to the starting point via the Hengstweg.

R13: Rötschgrabenweg
The Rötschgrabenweg leads from the entrance to Semriach (Spar market) to the upper entrance to the Kesselfalle and along the Rötschgraben to the Hengstweg. From there, the family-friendly hiking trail leads past the Piet Hoyos Icelandic horse farm and past the Florianisiedlung settlement back to the Semriach entrance road and the Spar market. A hiking trail that is especially easy for families, with some great views of the Koralpe and the surrounding mountains. In the valley, the shady hiking trail offers a pleasant hiking experience in summer.
