The Piet Hoyos Icelandic horse farm is around 400 meters (3 minutes’ walk) from the Trattner. The 800-year-old estate is one of the most traditional and renowned Icelandic horse farms in the world.

The spacious facility offers ideal conditions for training horses. There are two oval tracks (250m and 200m), a dressage arena and an indoor riding arena (40x20m), a covered round pen, a passing track (300m), as well as numerous forest and hiking trails for relaxed rides.

Riders of all levels and those who want to become riders are very welcome. Gutshof Hoyos offers riding lessons from the age of 7. The little ones can borrow a horse to lead ponies for half an hour and go for a walk on the beautiful grounds.
